Mia Mariu: Create Your Perfect Canvas
I wear makeup almost everyday. My skin tone is uneven so even if I wear nothing else, I use some sort of foundation. Mineral powder is my favorite because it offers decent coverage, it’s easy to apply and it doesn’t clog my pores. Last year I had the opportunity to try some Mia Mariu cosmetics and I really liked them. I didn’t try their foundation at the time though. I’m finally giving it a try along with their Perfecting Finish Mineral Primer and Perfecting Finish Cream Concealer. Choosing colors online isn’t easy and the concealer I picked was darker than I would have liked. The loose powder was slightly darker than I normally use but ended up being perfect for summer! Here is my before and after picture. I also used Mia Mariu Luminous Lipgloss, Loose Mineral Shadow Liner and Mineral Blush.
I really love the coverage of Mia Mariu’s Loose Mineral powder. I feel like it covered well while still being sheer enough not to look cakey at all. It really smoothed out my skin tone and imperfections. The primer was great too! Usually I use a lotion with SPF as a base but since the loose powder offers sun protection, I was happy to give it a try. It provided a very nice base for the mineral powder to give it some staying power. I don’t normally use a concealer and I could tell that the color I selected was too dark so I barely dabbed a little under my eyes. I think if the color was lighter I could have used this a bit more to cover up the dark circles under my eyes. The formulation seemed great and blended easily.

I need all of this. I use a moisturizer but doesn’t help when I apply makeup, still settles in my wrinkles. I have very dry skin and I know a primer will help this.
