I never understood the obsession that some women have with handbags until I discovered Miche Bags. I just couldn’t wrap my brain around the desire to transfer ones belongings from one purse to another on a daily basis all in the name of fashion. It seemed like such a painful process. Instead, I opted to use a black bag telling myself that it went with everything. With Miche I can have a lot more fun with fashion. I can match my bag to my outfit with ease. Starting with a base bag, a sturdy and practical foundation, I can then add a shell of my choice to suit the day’s fashion desires. The next day or even to switch from day to night I can pull the base bag with all of my contents inside, out of the shell and plop it into a new one! Just drop the base bag into a new shell and fold over the magnetic tabs, all in 3 seconds or less! You can switch the handles too if you wish but I’ve found that most of the time, the basic black handles work well.
My first Miche was the Prima, the largest bag in the line. The reason I chose it was because my laptop would fit inside. I’m practical like that and I really do love it but I prefer the look of the Demi bag. When I saw the Marcy shell for the Demi, I knew I had to have it for spring!
To me, this shell screams spring! The tan accents with the lizard textured faux leather and gold hardware is so fresh and classy looking. It’s hard to tell from this picture but the main color of this bag is a unique and delicate robin’s egg blue. While the black handles would look alright, in this case, I preferred the matching tan rope handles. This bag also features an outer zipper pocket on the back. I tried to capture the true color and texture of this bag but it still doesn’t quite do it justice. It’s so pretty in person!

The Demi Base Bag is 7 “(wide) x 14″(long) x 9.5” (tall). It comes with black handles and the interior features one zippered pocket, one small open pocket, two medium pockets, one cell phone pocket and two pen holders. It has a top zipper closure. The Marcy shell is just one of many that fit the Demi base bag. That’s the beauty of Miche! Find a shell to match your mood, your outfit or just your general style. If you get bored with it, there’s always the option of a new shell without the hassle of having to completely reorganize a new bag.
