A MOD Pizza recently opened in the next town over. I tried it the other day for the first time and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. It’s worth the drive! If you don’t know what MOD Pizza is, here’s a little info:
MOD Pizza is the pioneer of the fast casual pizza segment, founded in Seattle in 2008 by entrepreneurs Scott and Ally Svenson. MOD’s individual artisan-style pizzas are made on demand, allowing customers to create their own pizzas and salads, using fresh-pressed dough, signature sauces and over 30 toppings, for one price. With more than 125 locations across 16 states, MOD is committed to a purpose–led culture and being a force for good in communities across the country, creating not only a cool place to eat, but an inspired place to work. MOD was recently ranked as America’s fastest growing chain restaurant by Technomic. In 2015, MOD earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest growing private companies in America and was recognized by Fortune as one of the “20 Best Workplaces in Retail” for its progressive hiring practices, career growth opportunities and workplace benefits. Sounds like a great company right? They’re not only great, they’re generous! On Monday, May 30, MOD will treat all active and retired military personnel to a free 11-inch pizza or hand-tossed salad at MOD’s more than 125 locations nationwide. No purchase necessary! This offer is available at ALL locations, all day long!
Have you eaten at MOD? What’s your favorite combo? The one I “built” was with white sauce, garlic, ricotta, feta, mozzarella, spinach, bacon and chicken with pesto drizzle and it was SO good!
