I love almost every Disney movie but there are a handful I really attach to. [amazon_link id=”B00A822VDY” target=”_blank” ]Monsters Inc.[/amazon_link] is one of them. When I heard there was going to be another one, I couldn’t wait, especially since I now have kids of my own to enjoy it with! We actually got to see an advanced screening in 3D and it was super cool. If you have 3D capability, be sure to get Monsters University in 3D. It also comes with a blu-ray, dvd and digital copies so you’ll be set to watch it in any format!
Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (voice of Billy Crystal) was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer—and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike’s plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, “Sulley” (voice of John Goodman), a natural-born Scarer. The pair’s out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program. To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right.

My kids got to learn how Mike & Sulley became scarers and thought it was pretty funny that the two monsters weren’t always friends. The characters in this movie aren’t just colorful in hue — they’ve also got very colorful personalities which really captured and held my kid’s interest throughout the movie. Our Disney movie collection wouldn’t be complete without our latest favorite, Monsters University.
