HABA has recently come out with some new toys. We were lucky enough to try out a few of them. I’ve always loved HABA toys for their quality and design and the ones we tried did not disappoint!
Speedy Horse and Sheep in the Cloud Rattling Figures– These adorable little Beechwood wooden figures are made for little hands to grasp. The Sheep’s arms are threaded together by a cord so his arms flap and make a clacking noise against it’s body. Shake it and it rattles too. Parker likes to teeth his smooth head (as you can see in the picture above). The Speedy Horse is very similar only it’s the feet that are corded. Both retail for $15 each.
Ice Cream Set “Gelateria” with Bucket and Scoop- We just got a sandbox so we were super excited to play with this set. It comes with 7 pieces including a bucket, scoop, 2 ice cream cones, 2 different wafers and a domed ice cream swirl shaped bucket cover. My kids love scooping the wet sand with the ice cream scooper and putting it into the cones. While we used it with sand, it is food safe and can be used for other purposes. We love the bright colors and pretending to eat “chocolate” ice cream cones. We’re headed to the coast for a camping trip and I made sure to pack up this set to enjoy on the beach! This set retails for $13.
