Nut-Free Cookie Platters From OurSpecialty.com
A recent study showed that nearly 1 in 3 moms are influenced by nut allergies when making food purchasing decisions despite only about .09% of the US population having a peanut or tree nut allergy:
- 67% take nut allergies into account when deciding which snacks to provide for children’s events
- More than half of moms have received warnings or guidelines from their child’s school regarding nut allergies
- 1 in 4 were stopped from providing snacks at an event due to nut allergies
- 17% have been reluctant to provide snacks for an event in the past due to concerns over nut allergies
At my son’s school for a number of reasons, including allergies, they’ve made it a policy for families not to send treats in to celebrate birthdays. It’s completely understandable. With so many dangerous food allergies, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Still, there are other situations like picnics and barbecues where it would be nice to bring something safe to share. OurSpecialty.com offers a delicious nut-free frosted sugar cookies in party platters big enough to share.
The next time you’re attending an event where they’ll be someone with a known nut-allergy or even just to be on the safe side, consider these yummy and festively decorated cookies! They’re available in packs of 10 in white, pink, blue and yellow everyday. 10 Count Seasonal Varieties Include:

This type of cookie is a favorite in our family. They just melt in your mouth. Perfectly sweet and adorably frosted, they’re great for special occasions or an everyday treat. The party platter didn’t last long at all in our house. I may or may not have had something to do with that (hello, sweet tooth!). The day these arrived we were headed to the beach so I packed a few in the cooler. The kids were super excited at discovering them and throughly enjoyed savoring them in the sunshine.
Please note that these cookies while completely safe for those with nut allergies, may not be safe for those with other types of food allergies like gluten. For more information about these nut-free frosted cookies, visit www.ourspecialty.com.
