Do you like feel-good movies? What about true stories? You’ll get both in Ordinary Angels from Lionsgate. It hits theaters February 23rd and you won’t want to miss it! I had the opportunity to watch a screener and really enjoyed it!
The movie is based on a remarkable true story and starts Hilary Swank. I absolutely loved her character — a struggling hairdresser in a small Kentucky town who found a new sense of purpose when she met Ed, a widower working hard to make ends meet for his two daughters, the youngest of which needs a liver transplant. Sharon is a fierce woman who doesn’t take no for an answer. She sets her mind on helping this family and will do whatever it takes. It’s an inspiring story of faith, everyday miracles and ordinary angels.
