The dreary, cold and skin-drying winter days are finally behind us! I just started using Paula’s Choice Resist Perfectly Balanced Cleanser. It’s is a lighter formula that is great for spring and summer. From the first pump, I was impressed. The gentle formula cuts through oil and grease without any drying and leaves my skin feeling soft, clean and refreshed. It was designed for combination or oily skin. It’s good for acne breakouts, blackheads, enlarged pores and wrinkles and does a great job of removing makeup. The directions say: “Wet face and apply a small amount of cleanser (1-2 pumps) to your face and eye area with vigorous, yet gentle, circular motions. Rinse well. To remove heavy makeup, repeat or use with a clean, wet washcloth.”
I think the cleanser is quite concentrated. Two pumps would be way too much. I lathered with my fingers and used a washcloth to help rinse and found it to be very effective. It’s vital skin-repairing ingredients, such as ceramides and hyaluronic acid, cushion the skin leaving it exceptionally smooth, soft, and younger-looking.
