Silicone band bracelets in all different shapes are a crazy trend right now. Kids collect them, trade them, and wear them by the dozens. I never could quite understand the point of the bracelets being designed in shapes because you can’t tell what they are once they are on your arm. Piggyback Bandz has solved that problem and made collecting and trading easier than ever before. They’ve created their own silicone bracelets with a mini shape to piggyback the larger shape. It stands up when being worn so you can see exactly what shape you are wearing.
There are currently 8 Piggyback themes to choose from: Glam, Football, Groovy, Sealife, Alphabet, Cool Rides, Safari and
Extra Letters. With the exception of Alphabet, each pack contains 25 bracelets (Alphabet has 26- one of each letter) and retails for $4.95. For more information and to purchase Piggyback Bandz, visit www.piggybackbandz.com.
My three year old and two year old aren’t really old enough to be involved in the silly band mania but as you can see from these pictures, they still loved them! McKinley loves to carry them around in her little purse and take them on and off while Jackson loves checkout out all of the different shapes and ask questions about the animals and sealife. The bracelets are bright, colorful and fun. Since they are stretchy, they are easy to take on and off. We tried to spell “Jackson” with the alphabet bracelets but that was a bit ambitious. It was hard to keep all of those letters straight and in the right order without getting twisted up. Smaller words are more suitable. Our favorite Piggyback Bandz was the crab!
