Pilo is back in Pilo2: An Interactive Children’s Story Book 3D Animation-Puzzle-Music Game. Pilo is a plush toy fairy from the dream world. You get to chose Pilo’s style by selecting the clothing and accessories he wears. My son was super excited about this aspect of the app because you can dress Pilo as a superhero! You also get to choose the main character — Either a boy named Tommy or a girl named Sunny. There are a couple of options for these characters as well.
This interactive storybook found in the books category on iTunes features page to page fun with lots of musical games and puzzles including:
- Playing the piano — Tapping on the piano keys makes a sound. Find out what will happen to Pipi the bluebird if you tap on the key on which he sits!
- Winding up a spring to make Pipi move
- Playing the drum
- Music puzzle
- Performing the ensemble
- Characters’ finale dance (Each character dances when touched.)
You can choose to listen to the story in English, Korean, or Chinese. My kids like hearing a different language, especially when they already know the story in English. They enjoy the interactive games within this storybook too. The design and illustrations in this app are great — super cute and friendly. I love the storybook/game/interactive combo because it keeps my kids interested and engaged. You can find out more about the app and download it from iTunes . The cost is $2.99.
