Until this month I had never heard of Pixi Beauty. I was lucky enough to receive a package of products and I quickly became a fan. First of all, the holiday collection is beautifully packaged and perfect for gift giving. Secondly, the products are very easy to use.
The Endless Silky Eye Liner Quartette is my favorite. It comes with 4 colors — black, brown, grey and a lovely plum color. I’ve never used an eyeliner that glides on a smoothly as these do. There is absolutely no tugging at all! And the colors are awesome. I really love having the plum colored one which brings out the green in my eyes.
I also love the natural contour kit. I really don’t know anything about contouring but a couple of those shades work great as blush. The eye colors are great too —there’s base colors, highlighting colors etc. to make a really nice eye look. I used the lightest brown in the crease, the greyish brown on my lid and the highlighting colors to highlight.
The lip colors were nicer than I expected. I’m pretty picky when it comes to color and usually use more of a gloss. These are creamier but two of the colors I actually liked quite a bit.
This is how the whole look came together. These products are something I can wear everyday and as a matter of fact, I have been using them every day! I’m very happy with the performance of these products. They gave me a lasting look I didn’t have to worry about touching up throughout the day. Application was easy and the shadows blended easily. The lipsticks had staying power without drying my lips and the eyeliner stayed where I put it without smudging.
Pixi Beauty’s Holiday Collection has something for everyone this year! Honestly, I think the colors in these sets would work well with just about any skin tone.
