I was a 90’s teen growing up in the Pacific Northwest, home of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. Flannels and grunge bands were the scene. To me, plaid is synonymous with warm and cozy and makes me think of dark fall and winter days. Plaid has taken on a whole new reputation though. From grunge to classy, plaid is rad.
