I am loving all the Disney movies coming out since many of them were originally released when I was little. It’s fun to introduce them to my own children and the stories are always timeless. Some of them I haven’t seen before like Pocahontas II so it’s fun to watch them together for the first time. Together in a two movie collection the award winning Pocahontas and Pocahontas II can now be enjoyed on Disney Blu-Ray and DVD. The 3 disc Blu-Ray combo pack includes the movies plus:
- Drawing Inspiration: The Lost Story of Hiawatha
- Deleted Song: “If I Never Knew You” — a full animated deleted song with optional audio commentary
- The Music of Pocahontas
- “Little Hiawatha” Cartoon Short
- Deleted Scenes
- Virtual Vault — a collection of past bonus features offered via online streaming
The original Pocahontas won Academy Awards for “Best Original Score” and “Best Song” and a Grammy Award for “Best Song”. Pocahontas is story about a free-spirited girl and her friends Meeko the raccoon and Flit the humming bird who rely on the guidance of Willow, Pocahontas’s wise and loving grandmother, in her life’s adventures. When she meets Captain John Smith, two cultures collide but lead to a friendship that changes history. Pocahontas and Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World two movie collection retails for $39.99 in the Blu-Ray/DVD Combo pack. Check out a clip below:
