Since my kids are 3, 1 and 2 weeks, carving pumpkins is more of a project for ourselves than the kids. I’ve always enjoyed pumpkin carving but I’m not sure I’m quite up to the task this year. I was thrilled with the Kids Pumpkin Sticker Kit we received for review. It was super easy and fun for the kids and best of all, there was no mess for Mommy to clean up! I let the kids pick out which sticker pieces they wanted on their pumpkins that we got from the pumpkin patch yesterday and they got to stick them on themselves. At their ages, their attention span is pretty short and this activity didn’t take long and definitely held their attention.

We also got a carving set and an It’s Alive pumpkin light. I love that the light is battery operated. It always makes me uneasy leaving a candle burning unattended on the front porch. If I can “carve” out some time to carve my own pumpkin this year, I can’t wait to see the effect that this light gives it.
