Thanksgiving week is a busy one, especially for moms! Whether you’re hosting Thanksgiving at your home, preparing to travel or cooking/baking your contributions to the Thanksgiving feast you could probably use a good distraction to help keep the littles occupied while you work. I recommend Puzzingo, a top ranking kids puzzle app with over 8 million downloads and 1 billion plays.
You don’t have to take my word for it, the awards it’s earned speaks volumes! Awards include Dr. Toy’s 10 Best Children’s products, Editor’s Choice, Best Apps for Kids and 5 out of 5 by Apps for Homeschooling just to name a few. Puzzingo Puzzles help kids develop spatial recognition, matching, tactile, and fine-motor skills. After completing the bright, whimsical puzzles, kids are rewarded with mini-games that bring the puzzles to life. Not only is Puzzingo fun and engaging, it can help children learn vocabulary in 5 different languages – English, UK English, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese!
Puzzingo features:
- Hundreds of bright, interactive puzzles
- Learn vocabulary in 5 different languages
- Countless mini-games that reinforce puzzle play
- Carefully designed and tested to be accessible to early readers
- Topics include: dinosaurs, pets, cars, fairies, space, bugs, and more…
This is such a fun game, kids won’t see it as anything other than play time however they’ll be learning so much! To play, they open a present with a puzzle piece inside. They find where it goes and drag it to it’s proper place on the screen. More pieces follow until the puzzle is complete They learn so much along the way increasing their vocabulary and learning numbers etc. This app is available in several languages and it’s easy for parents to switch between them.
My daughter especially enjoys the mini-games you get after completing each puzzle. In one of them you get to dress a character with all sorts of items from a dress-up trunk. It’s really fun and silly too, so it makes her laugh. In another, you get to decorate donuts. Kids could play Puzzingo for a long time without running out of fun new adventures. If you want to see the game in action you can watch a demo on YouTube here.
