When I got married I couldn’t wait to start collecting heirloom type pieces for hosting dinners and parties. I had visions of beautiful serving sets and crystal glasses. I’d put fresh cut flowers in a crystal vase and I’d magically be a “real” adult.
Nearly 9 years later, I’m living reality. I have three kids and the best extended family a girl could ask for but we aren’t that fancy. We hosted Thanksgiving for the first time this year. Our gravy boat was a glass Pyrex measuring cup.
We’re moving on up! In all seriousness though, this vase is beautiful in person (my pics don’t do it justice). It’s a very classy and classic piece that can be used both casually and in nicer settings. I also think it would look pretty used as a vase!
Crystal makes a great gift because it’s something you can keep and use forever as long as you’re careful with it. Not to mention how beautiful crystal is! Check out Reed and Barton for a great selection of crystal gifts including candle holders, barware & more!
