I’m embarrassed to even show you this but I had to put the EnviroMate to the test. My kitchen/dining room floor was in desperate need of a cleaning as you can see from the picture — yes thats a raisin stuck (and I mean really stuck) to the floor. My three little ones are very messy eaters (and I’m not the best cleaner)! The steam cleaning unit was really easy to set up and use. I just added some water using the measuring cup and funnel it came with, plugged it in and turned it on. It was ready to go in just a few short minutes. The tank holds 45 ounces of water which allows for up to 45 minutes of cleaning before having to refill it! Next, I chose the handle extensions and added the floor brush attachment. I added the cloth that came with it — it just clips on and you can use any sort of other cloths you’d like. The handle has two buttons — one to lock the steam function into the on or off position. The other is like a trigger that you hold down when you want steam. On the unit itself there is a knob you can adjust that controls the amount of steam depending on how powerful you need it to be allowing you to adjust it down for more delicate jobs. The steam did an awesome job loosening the gunk on my floor and had them clean in no time. While I was doing the floors I noticed that the sliding glass door had milk all over it (go figure) from a glass of spilled milk that I hadn’t realized splashed up on to the door. I was easily able to switch to the squeegee attachment and get it taken care of. How handy is that?! There are so many uses for the EnviroMate BRIO:
