Review & Giveaway: Hana Professional Flat Iron

Having two small children, I don’t get out much. I also work with babies which means wearing my long hair down is out of the question unless I wanted it yanked on all day. But when I do get a chance to go out, I like to style my hair with a flat iron. Misikko asked if they could send me a complimentary flat iron to review and I was thrilled to be given the opportunity. The flat iron I had been using was at least a few years old and not the best quality. Sometimes my hair would get stuck in it which never made me very happy, as you can imagine.

My hubby planned a date night for us last week. He took me to see New Moon (isn’t he great?!) and even though Mindy pointed out that we would just be sitting in a dark theater, I still wanted to style my hair. We got to sneak in a quick dinner after all.
I was quite pleased with my Hana Professional flat iron. All flat irons are not created equal. This one was far superior to my old one. My hair is naturally straight but I like using hair straighteners to smooth my hair and take out the frizzies. The Hana Professional didn’t have any trouble doing just that. In fact, it took less than half the time it normally does. The adjustable temperature was nice because I have fairly fine hair and don’t need really high heat. The adjustment dial is on the inside rather than the outside which I thought was a great feature. With my old one, I was always accidently turning it up or down while using it because it was right on the handle. The ceramic plates glided smoothly through my hair with no snagging or pulling. The Hana Professional Flat Iron came nicely packaged inside a tin with a storage/carrying sleeve. A heat proof mat was also included to help protect countertops from heat damage.
Straightening my hair didn’t seem like a chore with the Hana Professional flat iron. This means my husband is going to have to take me out on more dates just so I will have reason to use it!

    That looks like an awesome flat iron! I want to try the T3 Evolution Hair Dryer and then Hana Flat Iron to see how smooth I can get my hair.
