The Hardy Boys Treasure on the Tracks
for Nintendo DS- $19.95
First, I just have to say that the Nintendo DS isn’t just for kids. I have one and I love it! Besides the “games” that are geared towards adults like My Cooking Coach there are many other “kid” games that I actually enjoy myself! Hardy Boys Treasure on the Tracks is one of them. Games that use the stylus are especially fun and this game is played almost entirely using it. You use it to paint pictures, dodge pursuers and search for hidden clues. You can also use it to get hints on what to do next from your PDA. It’s like an adventure story unfolding as you play. The best thing is, if you make a mistake you don’t have to start over. The game will automatically return to the point just before the mistake was made.
The goal of the game is to unlock the secrets of the Royal Romanov family to find out what happened to their fortune. Nearly a century ago, the Russian Royal Family attempted to flee with their treasure to avoid the impending Revolution, planning to return a year later by train. But the family disappeared, and no one can account for the missing Romanov treasure. Will you be able to unlock the mystery?
This game is also rated E for everyone with mild violence.
