Review & Giveaway: Tee Juice Markers and iDye

Are you looking for a fun, creative, non-messy project to keep the kids entertained this summer? You will want to check out Tee Juice Markers. Decorate a pillow case, book bag or beach towel- the ideas are endless! Since my kids are too young, my dad and I gave TeeJuice markers a whirl and made a couple of shirts for my two year old son. The markers, as you can imagine, were very easy to use. There are no special instructions. Just draw directly onto your fabric. When you are done, set for 2-3 minutes with a hot iron. TeeJuice markers are suitable for almost any type of fabric- natural or synthetic. We tested them out on cotton t-shirts. Here are the results of our creative efforts:

As grown adults, we had a lot of fun with this project! The shirts washed up well without much, if any, fading. In use, the markers tugged a little at the fabric while drawing but trying different techniques helped. I liked that the colors didn’t bleed into the fabric but created clean lines.

TeeJuice fans can enter their creative designs in weekly and quarterly contests held at www.TeeJuice.com. Each week, a design is chosen from each of the four themes: Fun & Games, The Edge, Beauty & Beast and Holiday/Seasonal. Entrants are separated into two age brackets, 12 & under and 13 & up. One for removing or lightening color or brightening whites and another called Sun Blocker which adds a protective ingredient to fabrics to keep sun from penetrating.
