Have you ever seen a dog “running” in it’s sleep? Ever wonder what it’s dreaming about? The Porch Dream is about a dog name Bella who dreams of saving the day in a variety of ways. The book touches on manners and recycling among other things but the best part about The Porch Dream are the pictures. There is so much going on on each brightly colored page. The illustrations aren’t like those you see in other children’s books-I wish I knew the name of the style because it is difficult to explain. My son absolutely loved the pictures. Each page has a different type of vehcile with the dog driving/riding it. From mopeds to firetrucks, recycling trucks to riding lawn mowers- Bella dreams big!
