I was given the opportunity to try a T-Mobile G1 Phone with Google, Black (T-Mobile). At first, I didn’t like anything about it except the keyboard that was hidden. I like keyboards on phones because I think they are easier to type on. I also was so used to my husband’s iPhone that it was hard for me to get interested in this one- until I did get used to the phone. I LOVED it! It had great features. I thought the screen was nice and bright, the options were easy to use and the internet was powered by Google.
Also, one of the best apps available is called ShopSavvy. Where was this for me around Christmas time? It reminds me of the commercial where people visit a store and have other people at different stores to find the lowest price. Who needs that when you have this application?
Here is a video from Good Morning America about it:
Take a shot of a UPC code with the phone’s camera. The app then finds the cheapest product available online and in local stores. You can proceed to purchase the product or email the link to yourself. You can also use the GPS to find a local store. Reviews are also posted about the product.
The T-Mobile G1 Phone with Google, Black (T-Mobile)
retails for around $179.99 with a contract or $399 without. It is a great app and if you are in the market for a new phone, look into the G1.
