I used to visit my grandmother regularly when I was a little girl. She’s a very warm and homey person. You can hardly catch her going anywhere to chill out, except maybe going to town every Friday night for a game of Bingo with her friends. She’s a big fan of Bingo, you
see. She enjoyed it very much to the point that she wouldn’t mind going out to town to play Bingo even if the weather is unfavourable.
I can still vividly remember visiting my grandmother one Friday night many years ago, and she was getting ready for her weekly Bingo game. It was raining cats and dogs, and yet she was determined to go out and have her bit of fun instead of staying with me.
I was not very pleased with her, of course. I have nothing against Bingo, but I thought it would be better for her if she stayed home with me instead that night. You can never be too careful during therainy weather, you know? She could have gotten herself a serious case of pneumonia, or even worst, slip and fall on the slippery street and break a bone or two! But then again, who am I to deny her bit of fun and escapism? She doesn’t get out much and I know she loves the excitement of playing Bingo.
Reminiscing the past made me feel wistful. If only my grandmother could play bingo online instead back then she wouldn’t have to go out. Playing Bingo at Ladbrokes is definitely safer and much more convenient during bad weather as you’ll be playing it in the comfort of your own home instead of some town community hall or a carnival. It would have definitely spared me the agony of staying awake all night long wondering if she would be home safely after those late night Bingo sessions.
