I love bargain shopping, especially for kid’s clothing. Unfortunately, I rarely have the time anymore. With 3 kids in sports, working from home and juggling household responsibilities I have to prioritize my time. I’m lucky to get a shopping day for back to school clothes! I was recently introduced to Wee Blessing, a new subscription company for children’s clothing. It’s unlike any other I’ve seen and after trying it out, I am throughly impressed.
Alicia Werle founded Wee Blessing to help moms all of the country not only save time but MONEY as well. Here’s how it works:
- Fill out a style quiz for your child (or children) This is where you let the stylist know the colors your kids like to wear, their size etc. so that your personal stylist can shop for the things your kids will love. You can also specify how much you’d like to spend per outfit to help you stay on a budget.
- When the stylist is done shopping, you will receive a box packed with 4 brand name outfits per child. Your package will also come with a pre-paid shipping envelope to return anything you don’t want. However, if your stylist nailed it and you love everything you’ll get an extra 10% off!
The best part about Wee Blessing is that every item you receive will be priced 40-80% off retail. There are no styling fees, restocking fees, monthly fees or any hidden fees. You pay $10 for shipping (choose from monthly, quarterly or one time shipments). Then just pay the discounted price for the clothing you keep.
Here are the outfits we received:
Under Armour Lightweight Cool Dry Shirt retail price $24.99. Wee Blessing price $10.
Fila Sport Black/White Striped Athletic Pant retail price $38. Wee Blessing price $14.
Obviously the outfit was a little on the large size. We love the shirt and she can still wear it now with some room to grow. The pants we decided to pass up to a friend that always passes down her clothes to McKinley so we know we will get these awesome pants back when they will fit better.
Under Armour Athletic Tank retail price $22.99. Wee Blessing price $9.
90 Degrees by Reflex Black Yoga Short retail price $24. Wee Blessing price $10.
This is probably my favorite outfit of the bunch. It reminds me of a dancer or gymnast. I never would have picked the shorts because they are rather short but I think they look really cute with this tank top.
Lily Rose Princess Design Collection Dress retail price $58. Wee Blessing price $20.
This dress is SO McKinley. She would have picked this dress out herself in a heartbeat with the color combos and pretty, twirly skirt. It fits great too!
Justice Love Tank retail price $18. Wee Blessing price $8.
Justice Love Shorts retail price $22. Wee Blessing price $8.
While McKinley loves the Justice brand, this outfit wasn’t her favorite. She thought it seemed more like pajamas. The price was great though and it’s a comfortable and cool outfit for hanging around the house in the summer.
We did an unboxing video of McKinley opening up her package. Even though I tried to explain the concept to her, she didn’t quite understand. She had a lot of fun though and really loves her new clothes!
The total cost of 4 outfits was only $79 plus the $10 for shipping. That’s less than $20 per outfit (minus shipping)! Plus, since I kept everything, I would have gotten another $7.90 off bringing the total down to $71.10 or $17.77 per outfit. For NAME BRANDS! Honestly, I was really surprised how well the stylist matched outfits for McKinley. They did an excellent job and I couldn’t be happier with the price.
When you receive your Wee Blessing package it comes with a checkout form that lists the retail price and YOUR price. You circle yes or no for each item to indicate whether you’re keeping it or not. You have 7 full days to decide. Return the items you don’t want postmarked by the 8th day. Scan back the form by taking a photo and sending it via email. Remember, you get an extra 10% off if you keep everything! You can offer feedback about your shipment on the form so each Blessing gets better and better as the stylist learns what you like.
I highly recommend this service for all busy moms! It saves so much time! Plus, unlike similar services, Wee Blessing will also save you money and shop the way YOU do — think big discount sales — while still sticking to your style requirements. It’s win-win!
Feeling lucky? Wee Blessings is offering an opportunity just for Mommies with Cents readers. If you give Wee Blessing a try you’ll be entered to win $500 worth of back to school clothes! Just order before August 31 and make sure you reference Mommies with Cents on your Style Quiz!
