Last month we celebrated National Ice Cream Month with Schwan’s Ice cream but this month is MUCH hotter than last month. It’s a good thing that Schwans.com has more than 400 local sales and distribution centers and approximately 4,800 delivery trucks that can deliver dozens of varieties of ice cream (as well as other frozen foods) to help keep us cool.
Schwan’s is the largest direct-to-home delivery service that offers all sorts of delicious options from main dishes to desserts. Using a delivery service will save you time at the grocery store and the meals are all fast and easy to prepare. I especially love the desserts. I was thrilled to hear that Schwan’s brought back the Monkeying Around Banana Ice Cream as it’s one of my favorites and I can’t find anything like it elsewhere. It has a great banana flavor with chunks of buttery cookie crumbles, peanuts and chocolate that tastes divine!

We also got to try Summer’s Dream Ice Cream. It was delicious and refreshing — just like a creamscicle! A yummy blend of orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream really hits the spot on a hot summer day.
