For months we’ve been having internet connectivity problems that we’ve associated with our router. Several times a day I’d have to unplug and re-boot both the modem and the router to regain a connection after it was lost unexpectedly. Securifi has taken the challenge out of wireless networking for the common user by offering a product that simplifies set up so that anyone can do it.
Priced right ($79 through Amazon.com), easy to use and loaded with features, the Securifi Almond can be configured in seconds with it’s color touch screen which guides you through set up without using your Mac or PC. Right out of the box the Almond supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 settings to secure your network from neighbors or hackers. Even the most basic user can set up the Almond. Supporting up to 50 simultaneous users, the Almond router is perfect for families, small offices or those who use several devices. It also doubles as a range extender. A firmware upgrade will add Weather & Photo Viewer app functionality for the LCD screen post set up making the device perfect for keeping on display.

I didn’t have any trouble setting up this router. It comes with a simple instruction sheet with the first steps, then the on-screen directions walk you through the setup which has you up and running within minutes. The Almond is a HUGE improvement over our previous router. I now how full service (all bars filled!) and it actually stays connected, unlike our old one. I cannot tell you how happy I am with the Almond Touch Screen Router. I highly recommend it!
