Holly and I received a book to review titled, Sewing a Friendship. This is not just another ordinary book. This is a book written and illustrated by a 10 year old girl, Natalie Tinti. She even made it as a finalist in the Children – Chapter Book category in the Writers’ Favorite Book Reviews and Award Contest.
About the Book:
There are four BFF’s (best friends forever) in Sewing a Friendship: Meeka, a science lover; Jonsy, a gym lover; Nina, a guitar player; and Sokron, a fashion lover. There is also Dogon, a spy-dog that takes the girls to Kiki, whom is not favored by the other girls as she is mean.
The book is easy to read and my 3 year old even thought it was really cute when I read it to her. The images are amazing- especially for a 10 year old!!!
