I’m all about products that simplify my life. I’m a sucker for 2-in-1 products because it means one less gadget to get the job done. I’ve owned several different steaming products in the past but I love how the Shark 2-in-1 Blast & Scrub Steam Pocket Mop has everything I need all neatly packaged together as one product!
Since the majority of the floors in my home are hardwood, the mop is what I use the most. I couldn’t be happier with it! I hate using chemicals to clean and this product gets the job done by deep cleaning and sanitizing sealed floors with nothing but steam! Sometimes I pre-treat with Thieves cleaner because I love the smell and it helps get out some of the more stuck on messes but the mop does an excellent job on it’s own. This mop gets my floors clean and shiny without having to get on my hands and knees and scrub. It has a 3-setting Electronic Intelligent Steam Control for the perfect amount of steam. Use Lo for general dusting and Hi for deeper, more through cleaning. The steam helps loosen tougher messes and the patented Shark Steam Pocket cleaning pad features two different sides for twice the cleaning in one pad. It’s easy to experience both sides just by flipping over the mop head. The pad’s multi-layered, microfiber construction effectively lifts and removes dirt while sanitizing your floors. The Shark Pocket cleaning pad is also easy to remove and wash.
Here’s where things get interesting. The mop converts to a handheld steam to tackle messes of all sorts! When using the handheld steamer the unit will automatically set itself in the ACCESSORY setting. And when you encounter a tough, stuck-on mess, push the Engage Scrubber/Head Release Button to release the mop head and feel the Blast & Scrub Technology delivering high-pressure concentrated steam combined with the onboard scrubber to clean stubborn stains. The powerful flow of steam breaks down tough, stuck-on stains. The super-absorbent microfiber pads loosen, lift, and lock in dirt and grime. And while they’re tough on dirt, they’re gentle on your surfaces.
The Blast & Scrub mop is really easy to use. It’s lightweight and has an easy to fill, large water tank that allows it to run for a long time without refilling. The cord is also a good length so you can clean a large area without have to unplug and move. I’m very please with the mop mode of this product and know that when I need it, the handheld steam cleaning will be just as awesome. I won’t have to go out and buy a second product!
