Sunflowerbaby Stay Dry Cloth Diaper Review
I’ve had three babies but I never got into cloth diapering. I sort of wish that I had! For one, the cloth diapers are super adorable! Disposable baby diapers can cost an arm and a leg and cloth diapers can really reduce that cost, especially when they’re used for more than one child. Since I had my kids close together, at one point I had 3 in baby diapers at the same time! My oldest was just wearing them at night but my younger two were in diapers at the same time for awhile, as were my oldest two before my last baby arrived. That’s a LOT of diaper changes!
Secondly, cloth diapers are more breathable. The Sunflowerbaby brand features a fast dry inner layer that is more breathable than other diapers which is important for helping to prevent diaper rash and sore bottoms. These stay dry diapers come with a super absorbent insert and durable, adjustable snaps that ensure a perfect fit to keep leaks to a minimum. The insert is made from all natural materials and features 4 absorbent layers designed to keep baby healthy and dry. The first layer is bamboo which is naturally anti-fungal. The second and third layers are microfiber. These are the most absorbent layers. The fourth layer is a sueded stay dry layer that keeps baby’s skin from feeling the wetness. All of the materials used to make the inserts are made with high tech processing for a pure, smooth, durable and washable product that does not contain fluorescents which is healthier for babies. Compared to disposables, Sunflowerbaby diapers are far more breathable and quick drying — something to consider when making the diapering decision of cloth vs. disposable.
The lining of Sunflowerbaby diapers is super soft for comfort while the outter layer is made from a high air permeable compound TPU that makes Sunfolowerbaby Diapers super breathable.
Another nice thing about cloth diapers is that they are so adjustable with two rows of snaps at the waist plus snaps at the sides that they fit from newborn all the way up to 35 lbs so you can use them all the way through potty training!
There is a little bit of a learning curve to using cloth diapers but once you get the hang of it, the benefits far outweigh the little bit of extra effort that goes into cloth diapering. You’ll be helping the environment, keeping your baby dry and rash-free and saving money in the process! Plus, your baby will look really cute to boot.
