Sunrise Soya Foods, Canada’s leader in traditional and innovative tofu and soy products has recently introduced Super Squeezies Omega-3 DHA pudding dessert tubes for kids to the US market. Similar to GoGurt, the product is packaged in tubes for consumption without the use of a spoon. Super Squeezies come in a two-flavor combination box with four tubes of Strawberry Banana and four of Chocolate Fudge. Each tube contains a vegetarian source of Omega-3 DHA, which is important for brain, eye and heart health.
Super Squeezies are gluten free, dairy free and do not contain artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Each tube contains 16 mg of DHA and 2g of protein. The tubes can be frozen for a yummy treat which also makes them perfect for lunch boxes as they’ll be thawed and ready to enjoy by lunch time.
These non-dairy treats are the perfect choice for kids with food allergies or intolerances making them great for play dates and school or sports snacks. They’re also satisfying alternative to many desserts.
Super Squeezies, which sell at a suggested retail price of $3.99 for a box of eight tubes, can currently be found in the refrigerated soy sections of local grocery stores and supermarkets in Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey.

My 3 kiddos thought Super Squeezies were a treat. They enjoyed them both frozen and thawed but preferred them frozen. They seemed to like both flavors equally. I like the idea of the combo box but for those that have a preference, the fact that the flavors aren’t available separately could be a problem. I felt good giving them a “treat” that was actually good for them. Now if only they were available in more stores!
