Moms. We love them for so many reasons. They gave us life, nurtured us, raised us, taught us right from wrong and unceasingly supported us in any activity we’ve ever been a part of. We truly owe our mothers everything for the unconditional love that they provide on a daily basis.
According to Coupon Box, on any given day your mother has to juggle upwards of 50 job roles. These daily tasks include housekeeper, chef, driver, psychologist and more. All of these roles add up to moms working, on average, 96.5 hours per week. When you actually combine of all these responsibilities it is the equivalent of working 2.4 full time jobs. If a normal job required that much work and stress, most people would quit within the first week, but thankfully our mothers don’t.
It’s amazing how mothers are able to do all these things for their children, often times with a smile on their face and no thanks from their family. It turns out that if our mothers were paid for their services, they would earn a salary of $119,606 per year. I’m not sure about you, but that falls a bit outside of my price range. Hopefully she’ll settle for love, respect and admiration.
