My 6 year old loves to build things. He always amazes me with his ability to use directions by picture to create complex creations. He’s been a fan of Transformers for years (not just a passing phase!) so when I found out that his two of his favorite things would be combined I knew it would be a must-have. Transformers Construct Bots aren’t like Lego. They’re unique the way they fit together. Build a bot the transform it to vehicle mode without having to take it apart.
The Ultimate Set comes with 135 interchangeable pieces and directions to build Optimus Prime and Megatron (perfect for battles!) Or you child can get creative and use the pieces to construct a bot of their own. The set comes in two resealable boxes which makes clean up and organization easy (why don’t more toy makers do this?!) The toy also comes with a code to use with the free Transformers Construct-Bots mobile app for iOS (coming soon for Android). Jackson wasn’t quite as impressed with the app as he was with the toy but he did play with it for a little while, deleted it, then asked me for it again the next day so it couldn’t have been half bad!
Thank goodness there is more than one Construct Bots set available because I’m sure they’re going straight to the top of the holiday wish list which makes shopping easy! Here are the other Construct Bots options:
Triple Changers: convert between robot, car and jet modes

- Bumblebee
Elite Class: convert between robot and vehicle modes
- Soundwave

- Megatron
Scout Class: convert between robot and vehicle modes

You can find many of them on Amazon.com.
