Tudor Red Zone Electric Football Review
I don’t personally remember electric football from when I was a kid but I’m a girl and wasn’t really into sports. Apparently it was a thing though. And now it’s back — new and improved of course! Tudor Games Red Zone Electric Fodoball encourages learning and fun through strategic game play. I may be an adult now but this game was still way over my head. The concept is really cool though and for those who know football or want to learn more, this is the game for them.
“Twenty-two 3D football action figures move independently on a fully detailed scale model SpeedTurf™ football field. Compete head to head or play solo in America’s favorite tabletop football game. Offense runs plays, throws passes and kicks using quarterback figures. The little plastic players have these little bases that go on their feet. It controls the direction they move as well as the speed. After each team has set up their players, the team whose turn it is turns a little hand held dial that vibrates the playing field which in turn, moves the players. They get to choose how much vibration is used for the play.

The tint felt footballs are easily lost. I wish the game came with a few more extras but other than that, this game is well thought out. Not only is this a fun game but for young real life players, it’s a great learning tool. My 7 year old is playing Pee Wee football this year and there is so much to learn about the game. We can use the figures and game board to set up plays and simulate what the kids might come up against on game day.
