About two years ago my husband and I renovated our bathrooms. We thought the bathrooms were really out of date and if we could update them, it would help our resell value. Let’s just say our master bath had carpet in half of it. Yuck! So, we put travertine down, painted the vanities and put some granite countertops on.
I question myself many times every couple of weeks as to why we didn’t really think “outside of the box” and do something a bit different. There are so many other bathroom designs we could’ve considered. The vanity pictured above is something a bit different that I never thought about doing and it possibly could’ve saved us some money!
We weren’t very original with our shower either. We simply tiled it with travertine. We are still saving for the money to put a glass door on it and I can’t wait until we have succeeded. Steam showers are the best! I feel like they help my allergies (which are horrible right now!)
