I always have good intentions during the holidays. There are lots of projects, events, etc. that I’d love to do with my kids. The fact is, TIME is an issue. I KNOW I am not the only one. Life is busy! Sometimes that means skipping out on something or finding a faster way. While I’d love to make homemade cookies and go all out decorating them, I just don’t realistically have the time for it. That’s why I love products like Walkers Shortbread Holiday Cookies. These delicious cookies are already made and come in cute holiday shapes like Christmas trees, stars, bells and Santa! So right away, we save a lot of time by not having to bake the cookies — that means more time for decorating!
I actually handed this project off to Grandpa so I could get some house cleaning done. With just a tube of store bought frosting and a multi-pack shaker of sprinkles/colored sugar, my girls had a blast decorating their Walkers Shortbread Holiday Cookies.
They weren’t homemade and they weren’t overly fancy, but you know what? My girls had a blast and made memories. They were proud to share their cookie creations with their brother and they were gobbled up in no time.
