WallPops Review & Giveaway

I have always been the type of person that just knew that I could pick the right color to paint our walls- until recently.  I made a bad choice with our bedroom color and now I question paint colors every time we even consider repainting a room.  We are in the process of this in our bathroom now actually.  Not only do I have a problem with wall color, I am not a person that buys paintings and art for our walls too much only because I never know what could look good.

We have been introduced to WallPops though and it is a totally different aspect that I could get used to!  WallPops offer a neat way to dress up your walls without being committed to paint or spending a ton of money on a painting.  These are peelable and stickable.  They don’t leave residue when removing and they are awesome because you can move them many times.  Need a better position?  Easy to fix.  Don’t like in a certain room?  Move it to another.

Mindy’s take:

I received the Nouveau Damask Kit.  I would typically never choose a design like this, but my husband and I thought it’d be a great fit in our bathroom above the jacuzzi tub.  It comes in a silver metallic finish.  To me, it kind of looks like it could have a tiny (and I mean tiny) hint of gold in it.  This retails for about $32.  This WallPop looks great (although we are still waiting on the permanent location since we need to paint the bathroom still).  The only issue I had is that the Nouveau Damask Kit contains a lot of individual pieces.  It took 2 of us to place it.  My husband placed it on the wall while I stood back and told him where.  If we made a “mistake” though, it was easy to adjust.

Holly received Dots & Stripes.  Here’s her thoughts:

Since I was expecting my third baby who would be sharing a room with my daughter and I didn’t know the gender, I wanted a way to play down the pink walls a little.  Our plan was for the baby to share a room with her until it outgrew the crib.  Then depending on whether the baby was a boy or a girl, decide who it would share a room with from there.  The theme of my daughter’s room was butterflies and flowers.  As I mentioned before, the walls were pink but the other accents are green and purple.  I figured I’d add some more green and perhaps incorporate some grasshoppers or something if we had a boy.  As luck would have it, we had another girl.  I still love the green though and since the walls didn’t have any art on them, they could use a little dressing up.  Adding a stripe around the wall along with some “bubbles” would do just the trick.  I have some butterfly stickers that will go nicely with the Dot Wall Pops.
