I was watching the show “Kendra” last night and had a smirk on my face. It wasn’t because the show was great even though I do like the show for some reason, it was because I was so happy to see that Kendra is a “normal” person and mom. She was 2 months postpartum and had a belly just as I do now. I’ve had 3 kids and feel like I should not have my belly already even though I am only 3 weeks postpartum. What I didn’t like though was that she did a photoshoot for a magazine and was completely airbrushed as if her body bounced right back.
I am proud to say that I walked 1.5 miles today! I’m not cleared for exercise yet, but it’s so beautiful out that a good walk is so great and it’s not strenuous exercise either! It is going to continue to be nice, so I hope to keep it up. I am sad to say that I only lost 1 more lb. though. The weight fell off much quicker for me with the other children. If I could lose 1 lb./week, then I will be somewhat happy, but stay tuned!
