Only 1.2 lbs. to go and I am at my goal! With less than 2 weeks to my birthday (as of when I weighed last week), I think I can come awfully close to this goal by then. I am so excited!! Let’s see if I can stop there though or if I shoot for more. Is getting in shape and/or losing weight one of your New Year’s Resolutions? My advice is to start small. Start with a small goal, work towards it and then continue making goals. After you complete these goals, you will feel so great about yourself and accomplished. Here’s to a healthier you this year!
We all know that alcohol can be a lot of Weight Watcher points, but here’s a recipe to where you can celebrate the New Year while still keeping your goal in mind.
Apricot Bellini– 2 points per serving
– 3/4 cups apricot nectar, or passion fruit nectar, chilled
– 750 ml Champagne, or Prosecco, chilled (about 25 fl oz or 3 cups)
– 1/4 cups raspberries
– 6 pieces mint leaves
To make each drink, pour 1/8 cup (2 tablespoons) of nectar into a Champagne flute or other glass; top each with 1/2 cup of Prosecco.
To garnish, drop a few raspberries and a mint sprig into each glass; serve immediately.
