Is it Weigh Me Wednesday time already?? Taking my break last week was beneficial for myself, but was it beneficial for my waistline? Well, considering I packed one 1 lb. on, I’m not so sure. Maybe it was the piece of cake I had this weekend at a birthday party hehe.
One of my huge weaknesses is fast food. It’s not just fast food- it’s FRIES! I could eat fries almost all day long. I have found an awesome alternative to more healthy fries made right in your oven and they are SO easy! We all need quick and easy, right? So, here’s the wonderful recipe:
Ingredients:
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp bacon bits
ground pepper, to taste
12 oz baking potatoes
Directions:
Cut potatoes into 3″x1/2″ wedges. Preheat oven to 375 F. Spray nonstick baking sheet with non-stick spray. Combine all ingredients except potatoes. Toss potatoes in mixture to coat thoroughly (suggestion to put in gallon size plastic bag, press out air, seal, & toss). Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet. Bake 10-12 min, turning over after 5 min.
Pair these with some yummy turkey burgers and you’ll never know that you didn’t have fast food!
