Wholesale Clothing: A Fun Side Business
Ever since I was little I’ve wanted to have fun little side jobs to make some extra cash. I’ve always got my eye out for opportunities that interest me that could be profitable. One thing I think would be really fun having a little online store for cute but inexpensive clothing. You can purchase wholesale clothing at pretty low prices so there’s lots of room to mark it up for profit. From what I’ve heard, buying wholesale clothes from overseas is the way to go.
One of the places I’ve found is QClothing. Since the pricing is in pounds, I used a pounds to US dollars converter to decipher the prices on the site. Here are a few examples of some of the things available from wholesale clothing UK:

These adorable girls denim dresses embellished with a dotted hem and dotted bow are sold by the dozen for just $92.50 US which comes out to $7.71 each. I’d say these could easily be sold for $15 or even more for a nice profit margin.
I love these sweaters! They come in a pack of 20 for $137.04 (just $6.85 each!). I imagine these cute sweaters could sell for quite a bit more than that, don’t you?
QClothing has mens, women’s and children’s clothing, shoes, and accessories. The site is really easy to navigate. You can even narrow down your search by price range. I think a big part of why buying wholesale to retail appeals to me is the thrill of the hunt. Finding and picking out items that will sell well is a challenge. You have to know your customers and purchase stock accordingly.
I don’t know the ins and outs of a business like this, nor do I have the time right now to pursue a new business venture but it sure is fun dreaming! Would you ever consider a business in buying and reselling wholesale clothing?
