My favorite boys both just received new shoes courtesy of Crocs who has a number of new styles for winter. I’ll also be letting you know about some new women’s and girls styles in the coming weeks but today, it’s all about my boys.
The temperature is dropping and winter is right around the corner. Do your kids have the right footwear to keep their feet warm and protected? Crocs is at it again with their color changing fun. This time it’s activated by temperature rather than sunlight. Crocs Chameleons Gust Boots have a midsole band that changes color like magic when the temperature drops below 50 degrees. They are available in two colors: Navy/Lime with a boot band that starts white and changes to blue and Fuchsia/Bubblegum with a boot band that starts as pink and changes to red. These lightweight winter boots are lined with a sweatshirt like material for coziness and warmth. The Velcro strap closure makes it easy for kids to put on and take off. Bring on the cold for some color changing fun with Crocs Chameleons Kids Boots. They are available in sizes c6-j3 and retail for around $50 a pair.
My four year old son loves his new Crocband Gust boots. They are super easy for him to put on and take off. I love that they really aren’t too bulky to wear everyday unlike some winter boots that are heavy and clunky. It’s a good thing because Jackson wants to wear them all the time. Just like the summer Croc Chameleons that change color in sunlight, Crocband Chameleons also change color like magic. This time it’s activated by temperature. My kids really love this feature and always exclaim “Look mom! My boots changed color!”
The hubs received a pair of Men’s Harborline Loafers. Here is some info about them from Crocs:
Men’s Harborline Loafer – easy-on-easy-off shoe with a traditional look
- The perfect mixture of comfort and style featuring a leather upper and the comfort of Croslite sole material.
- Lightweight shoe great for relaxing around the house or running errands.
- Available in men’s sizes 7-13 in navy/stucco and black/black (MSRP $79.99).
This is a really nice pair of shoes but both my husband and I agree that at least to us, these seem more of a summer style rather than winter. They remind us of boating, perhaps because of the white sole but this style also comes in black. The slip on style is comfortable and casual, but not too casual. My husband can wear these to the office.
