Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! the hit animated preschool series debuts on DVD tomorrow September 23rd with a feature-length “A Tale of Tails”.
The press release describes Wubbzy as “a fun, lovable, curious little guy who just likes to play, play, play with his friends in the fun and wacky town of Wuzzleburg. It’s the funniest new preschool show that will keep kids laughing and yet provide those wholesome life lessons in a humorous and heartfelt way”.
Anchor Bay Entertainment sent us an advanced copy to preview. I popped some popcorn and invited my 5 & 6 year old nephews over for a movie party. They were so excited because Wubbzy is one of their favorite television shows. Before they arrived, I loaded the DVD into my computer and printed out some coloring and activity pages that are part of the bonus features on the disc. In addition to the 6 episodes and two bonus episodes, also included on the DVD are a DVD ring toss game, birthday party invitations and sneak peeks.
As soon as the boys arrived, they asked to watch the video. When the music started they danced around and sang along. They enjoyed coloring pictures of the Wubbzy characters and the connect the dot activity sheet that I had printed for them while watching the show. Their mom said she was surprised that they sat through the entire 92 minute movie. Apparently Wubbzy is THAT entertaining!
The DVD comes packaged in a really cool 3-D sleeve that houses the DVD case. “A Tale of Tails” is available from Anchor Bay Entertainment for a suggested retail price of $16.98. It would make a great gift for the little ones on your shopping list this coming holiday season.
