Over the past few months my very well used laptop really started deteriorating and actually crashed several times. Wow! This is EXACTLY what I need right now. My laptop is really slow because it’s loaded with picture files. This is exactly what I need. I have tons of pictures and music on my hard drive. It is so full that my computer barely runs. It is very slow. If I had one of these, I could move these off my hard drive and speed my computer up.
I really, really need one because We have an old computer that I could not put another game, download or document on with out it slowing the computer down more…I would love to move the majority of the family pictures and other very important items to the enternal hard drive and free up some space on the actual computer. We have 3 children and a digital camera with 1 GB storage, we can take about 700 pictures at a time, BUT we have a laptop that is 1 year old with a 60 GB hard drive and it only has 15% available from all our photos and videos! My family all lives 4 hours away or more so this would be great so we don’t run out of room and can keep family and friends up to date on our family!!

Less than a year ago my laptop crashed and I lost everything…all my engagement pictures, the pictures of our vacations and events from my husband and I’s first year together. I wish I would have backed up my computer so this didn’t happen.

I would LOVE to have this Clickfree External Hard Drive. I could put all of my pictures on it and not slow down my computer any longer. With 3 kids, we have hundreds and hundreds of pictures and it bogs down the computer.

Wow this is amazing! I have twin 6 month old girls and another daughter about to turn 2. My entire days are spent chasing after these little guys taking picture after picture. I know how fast they grow up and I dont want to miss a thing! Sadly, twice now I have had my computers pick up viruses and crash on me–loosing all my pictures! We could really use one of these. we have 2 computers that died on us and we do not have a way to retrieve the info on them. This clickfree sounds easy to use. My husband who is paralyzed from a spinal cord injury would be happy with me if I won this because the pictures and info about his accident are on the dead computer. I so need this! I actually lost about 3 years of pictures of my kids when my computer crashed and I have got to get a better backup system! I was able to scrounge a some pictures from relatives, but it’s just not the same…
I would love one of these to store machine embroidery patterns on. This would make them easy to access and easy to transport from place to place. I could just take this with me instead of a huge binder full of cd’s that the patterns are on now.

Oh well… what can I say. Everyone seems to need a Clickfree External Hard Drive, but here goes my reason. My husband, jokingly says to me "if it wasn't for bad luck you'd have no luck at all." Don't know if this was meant to be humerous but, needless to say I wasn't laughing. I had made the mistake of putting on my photos on my desktop and sure enough after trying so hard – my desktop crashed and lost every precious photos of my kids most of which I had no backup. Since everything is electronic these days, I have all of good bit of data that should be saved in the event of hardware failure. You never know when your computer might crash!
I could really use a Click Free because I do all my financial transactions online (bill pay, banking, taxes, etc.) to save on paperwork and stamps and I sure would hate to lose all my info I have stored in my drafts folder. Plus I keep all my pictures in an album that I would be devastated to lose. This sounds like something that could be the perfect solution.
My laptop decided that it did not like the power cord that gave it life, so that is unfortunate for all the files (music, pictures, etc.) that are on it if it cannot be fixed. This external hard drive sounds fantastic.

Oh, this sounds wonderful! I’d want it for the same reason you did: so that I would have all of my pictures in a safe place! I’m not too computer-savvy, and it sounds so simple to use.
This would be really great for us. I use my personal computer for my teaching job. Recently the hard drive crashed and after many hours my husband was able to get it running. Its not doing well, though. This extra hard drive would be a great security blanket for us, especially during the holiday season.
We, like you, have all of our pictures stored on the computer – and only a handful printed out. We had a scare where we lost about 3 years of my husband’s sermons and thought we lost the photos as well. Thankfully, the pictures were safe, even if the sermons are gone forever. I would love to be able to back up all the photos and know that they are safely stored in a second spot.

I use my work laptop for both home and work. Two months ago my computer crashed. I tried to save my job money and I fixed the computer and backed up on my own. Well…needless to say if I had done a regular back up with an external I would not have lost most of my files and church pictures for the last three years. I was so depressed and tried not to cry. Because of this experience I have been wanting to get an external hard drive for home in case anything like that happens again. I would love to keep pictures for more than a few years:)

Anyone who works on a computer really should have an external hard drive. It is a scary thought to not have access to so many years worth of information. I put almost everything on my computer and haven’t thought twice about the “what ifs” until recently, when my laptop starting slowing down and crashing at really random times. I collect many different graphics/scrap kits, etc, for different reasons. I help run a couple of tags/graphics lists, and I am always making tags, banners, contests, entering someone else’s contests, etc. I also make banners and tags for my home business’. I really, really need this right now. I am getting ready to move out of state and I can’t take the desktop I normally use with me. However, I have huge client files (I’m a graphic designer) that I must take with me. This hard drive would enable me to take everything with me on my move and not lose anything and to create a permanent archive for the future. I will be praying for this one. Seriously.

This is exactly what I need. My ancient laptop is creeping toward its eternal rest, getting slower and slower every day, with random errors and quirks appearing at every turn. Earlier this year I backuped all of my photos onto a external hard drive because we were having computer problems. I lost all of the photos from the computer and was really glad that I had made a backup, now the external hard drive won’t open on the new computer, it is going to cost me about $200 to recover all of my photos. After Christmas I will send in the broken external hard drive and get all of the photos restored. I have been just sick, our whole life history for the last 9 years is gone, and I just hope that the photos will be able to be found.

My mom is an only child, I’m an only child, and my son is an only child. So therefore he is the only great-grandchild and only grandchild. Which means I take TONS of pictures and videos all the time, and email or burn to disk almost daily. To help me with this, my mother allowed me to purchase on her credit a decent used desktop computer. But I really don’t think she realized just how many pictures and videos I have on here. Not to mention the endless supply of children’s games for my 7 yr old. This hard drive is the perfect thing for me to keep all those pictures and videos on that I’ve already sent out so I don’t have to (sadly and borderline tears) delete some of the oldest ones to make room for new ones. When I read about this, I was thrilled – I have been through 3 computers in the past few months, due to video cards going, had drives frying, and a really bad internet connection giving me so many issues – it’s just unbelievable. I have two children who I constantly take picture of, and am an avid scrapbooker – so I have practically millions of photos that I am still attempting to retrieve from the computers mentioned above. I think this would be a great way to save all of my important photos from my life without having all the stress I have now!
There’s only one way to be able to restore all of my precious grandchildren’s photos, the great music collected over a lifetime, and my hard found genealogy information I have accumulated, and that is with an external hard drive. This is fantastic! My husband is always resetting his computer. Updating things and storing music and movies. This means we have to scale down from an office desktop PC to a laptop in the bedroom, and we can’t store our documents, pictures, videos, etc. on the laptop alone. Second, I’ll be starting law school 4 months after the baby is born, and since we won’t have two incomes, electronic stuff starts heading further and further down the priority list. Still, I’ll need it to help store all the documents and files from school.
I had my first baby almost 6 months ago and have taken so many pictures. I’m also afraid of losing my precious pictures if my computer were to crash. I’ve never heard of the Clickfree External Hard Drive, but it sounds just like what I need to protect the pictures of my baby boy.

I could really use a back up external. I have a home busines and I have about 100+ gig of graphics and some of my artwork. I am also a freelance writer and photographer so I keep my photos (including pictures of my kids) and my articles on my computer too.
My computer is old and the burner broke so I am unable to back up things on CD or else I would. So I have to use a 1 gig flash drive to move things from my desk top to my lap top just to burn it and it takes FOREVER to do.

Just this week my computer crashed. My computer guy was able to retrieve my data, but I am going to have to reload every stinkin program. What if I had lost all my files, too? Oh man!! Would I be mad, mad, mad. Computers are so fickle.

My family travels a lot and lives in an rv over half of the time. All seven of us are active computer users. We work with a LOT of photos and documents. It can be a real pain to have to wait for the other person to finish using the computer or hard drive with the files you need to access, or to drag out the printer and set it up. Having a personal hard drive would make files a lot easier to store, work with, and print off at the library without inconveniencing someone else’s project.

This device would at least give me peace of mind that my files are safe. I would also suggest to others that backup drives and devices should be stored away from the home whenever possible, as a precaution against fire or natural disaster destroying your backup.

Not only do I have a ton of photos to back up but I also have files on all of my rental properties. Losing those would be a disaster.
Took us 8 years to finally get pregnant and when I had her, I swore the entire first year of her life would be on record. I either took a video or a digital photo. I have thousands from that first year alone. She’s almost 6 now and I had a nightmare the other night that I lost them all. This would be perfect for helping save the memories!

I don’t have an external hard drive and I have a couple thousand photos and CDs on my computer, making everything SLOW…

We are in a desperate need for an external hard drive. We have 4 school age kiddos with all kinds of projects and/or book reports that they do for homework. I would love to keep all of their work on something other than my laptop. I can place all of my photos and important documents on it as well. It is alway safe to have a backup just in case the laptop stop working. Thanks for the deal! I am feeling lucky!
