i want to say thank you for being so prompt in answer questions! i have a question regarding using coupons in cvs. For items that are sold buy 1 get 1 free, are we able to use 2 manufacturer coupons for the items? for example, colgate toothpast is sold for $2.99 and it’s buy 1 get 1 free. Will i be able to use 2 coupons ($1.50/1) so it would be $2.99 – 2 x $1.5 = free? or will i be able to use 1 coupon only since the second item was considered ‘free’?

It all depends on your store/cashier. Most of the time I find that you CAN use the coupon on the free item but sometimes you get a cashier that either can’t figure out how to do it if it beeps or just doesn’t think it should be allowed. In my opinion, the store is giving you the item for free but should still be getting reimbursed for the coupon amount so it is in their favor to accept it.
