Angie’s Boomchickapop is a company based in Mankato, Minnesota that uses a few select ingredients to make freshly popped popcorn.  Their products can be found in all 50 states and Canada in locations that include Costco, Target, Super Target, Whole Foods and regional grocery stores nationally, as well as in co-ops, health food stores or ordered online.
Angie’s makes 80,000 bags of popcorn daily in this family founded business that now employs around 150 people.  BoomChickaPop is a healthy snack that’s great for anyone, especially those looking for a filling low calorie snack option.  Choose from the flavors:

• Sea Salt — This one was my husband’s favorite and at only 35 calories per cup, it was the perfect snack to help keep him on track with is weight loss goals.  The whole family also enjoyed this classic flavor with the perfect amount of salt.
• Lightly Sweet — A favorite of the kids, this variety has slightly more calories per cup at 37 and can help satisfy a sweet tooth
• Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn — Kettle corn has always been a favorite of mine because I crave the sweet/salty combo and Angie’s does it perfectly with this variety which is just 70 calories per cup.
• White Cheddar—  Another favorite of mine, this one quite addicting but still only 60 calories per cup
• Caramel & Cheddar — Oh, who am I fooling, they are ALL my favorite!  I love this unique combination! Yes, both flavors are mixed in the same bag.  A stroke of genius!

This quickly became our family’s favorite snack and is certainly something we plan to keep stocked in our pantry!
