“Most airlines provide flimsy paper tags at the check-in counter. Instead of filling out a new tag- and wasting a ton of paper- every time you travel, use the tag that came with your suitcase or buy one. You’ll want to have a sturdier luggage tag attached to your suitcase in case it gets lost (there is no guarantee the paper tag is going to survive a detour and find it’s way back to you!)”.
