Are you prepared for an emergency? I mean, really prepared? Do you have a food supply for your family? Honestly, this is something I really hadn’t considered. I mean we have a pantry with canned foods, a limited supply of water and a first aid kit but not a supply of food that will last in a serious emergency.

Valley Foods worked with food scientists to find a solution and landed on products with natural food ingredients and a shelf life of up to 25 years without any added added preservatives, MSG’s, or GMO’s by using a nitrogen flushing process.
I gave several of their products a try and was very pleased with them! They are easy to make — all you need is water and a heat source to boil it.
The foods are packaged in these packets that also feature a ziplock closure for resealing. Each pouch is supposed to be two servings.
This chili was probably my favorite. It tasted great! This bowl is the whole package so I’d say it’s more like 1 serving however I guess if you were rationing in an emergency, it would be two servings.
This Irish Pub Style Cheddar Potato soup was also really good! Again, this is two servings.
The Pasta Primavera also passed the taste test! Over all, I was very happy with these products and would eat them even in a non-emergency. These would be great for camping!
