It’s Vacation Time by Lerryn Korda-A book for preschoolers about four friends packing for a vacation but end up having vacation type fun at home. Cute illustrations and basic problem solving skills will keep your child interested.
Maisy Goes on Vacation– We actually received Maisy Goes Camping for our review but Maisy Goes on Vacation will be the book included in the giveaway. Either way, you can’t go wrong with Maisy and her friends. All of the Maisy books are adorable and simple for small children. My kids, ages 1 and 3 both enjoyed Maisy Goes Camping as we received the copy shortly after a family camping trip. Maisy and her friends build a tent and all try to fit inside. Unfortunately, one of Maisy’s friends is an elephant- find out what happens when an elephant tries to sleep in a tent with 4 other friends in Maisy Goes Camping
Flanimals Pop Up Book– Flanimals are creatures created by comic master and star of the hit TV show The Office. In this 3-D pop up book, the creatures are described as well as displayed in a very creative way. Lot of little nooks and crannies to discover in this interactive book, my 3 year old got a little too enthusiastic and accidentally ripped an arm off of one of the Flanimals and fed it to an open and waiting mouth of another. Very cool book!
Where’s Waldo? The Ultimate Travel Collection– The perfect travel companion for kids ages 4-8 (in my opinion, the age range could be MUCH wider on this book) The collection includes:
* Where’s Waldo?
* Where’s Waldo Now?
* Where’s Waldo? The Fantastic Journey
* Where’s Waldo? The Wonder Book
* Where’s Waldo? In Hollywood
The sturdy yet still paperback book includes fold out checklists and flap that can be used as a book mark. When my kids are a little older this will be perfect to keep them entertained in the car and will fit nicely in a seat back pocket.
