Alvin & The Chipmunks Chipwrecked Wii Game Giveaway

ALLLLVIIIN!! For me, Alvin & The Chipmunks always makes me think of Christmas.  I loved their Christmas album when I was a little girl! Now, Alvin & The Chipmunks are much more than that.  They’ve been around for over 40 years and have recently made a big comeback. Originally created in 1958 by Ross Bagdasarian, Sr. as an animated music group, Alvin & The Chipmunks went on to become one of the most successful music groups of all time, and became stars of their own movies, video games decades later.  Alvin & The Chipmunks have earned five Grammy awards, an American Music Award, a Golden Reel Award, two Kids’ Choice Awards, and have been nominated for three Emmy Awards.  Their latest release is a movie and video game titled Alvin & The Chipmunks Chipwrecked.  This follows on the heels of Alvin & The Chipmunks The Squeakquel from 2010.

ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: CHIPWRECKED is coming to theaters December 16:

“The vacationing Chipmunks and Chipettes are turning a luxury cruise liner into their personal playground, until they become ‘chipwrecked’ on a remote island.  As the ‘Munks and Chipettes scheme to find their way home, they accidentally discover their new turf is not as deserted as it seems. Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked is rated G (fun for the whole family)and is in theaters nationwide this Friday, December 16^th.”

In a addition to the movie, a new game will also be released:

Dance along with Alvin and the Chipmunks in this motion-based experience (Kinect and Wii) that lets you perform for the crowd as one of your favorite Chipmunks or sassy Chipettes. Dance to classic Chipmunk hits as you play in environments right from the big screen.

Everyone’s favorite musical acts, Alvin and the Chipmunks and The Chipettes, are back!

•  Choose any of the six chipmunks–Alvin, Simon, Theodore, Brittany, Jeanette or Eleanor–as playable characters.
• Perform 50 different dance moves by following the moves on the screen in time to the beat; the closer to the beat you perform the move, the more points you will earn.
• Rock out to 30 of the greatest chipmunk tunes as you entertain roaring crowds.
• Perform fantastic dance moves to increase your score by filling up your “Munk Power” meter.
• Customize your characters choosing across four categories including shirts, hats, glasses and bling!
