Baby Wearing
I knew I’d have my hands full with a newborn and a toddler so with the birth of my daughter I decided I needed a sling. I did my research online, reading reviews and comparing prices. I wanted something easy to use, reasonably priced and functional beyond the itty bitty stage. I chose the Baby K’tan
in black. It can be worn in more than 8 positions with kids up to 42 pounds! My daughter is only a month old so I’ve only tried the cradle position but I love it and so does she! I wear it around the house when I need both of my hands free. She sleeps in it very contently but when she’s awake she can peek right up at me and that keeps her happy too.
I used the K’tan one day when I went shopping. I put my son in the stroller and her in the sling and off I went. It was really comfortable and didn’t put any strain on my back. The one thing I really love about this sling is that I am able to nurse my daughter in it hands free! I even used it in a restaurant one day and it kept me covered quite well except for around the waist where I easily used a blanket to keep my stomach from showing. Another thing that works well for this purpose is the Bella Band
. The baby is in the perfect position for nursing. I look forward to trying all of the other positions I can wear the Baby K’tan
as my daughter grows.
Thanks for reviewing this. I am currently looking for a sling and your review was helpful!
